Use this page to notify us about content on DateTrails that you believe infringes your copyright, is illegal, or otherwise violates our Terms of Service. This single channel serves as both:

a DMCA notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A) (U.S. copyright), and
a notice under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) for allegedly illegal content.

All notices are routed to our Designated Agent mailbox: [email protected]. To help us act quickly and precisely (DSA Art. 16 requires notices to be sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated), please include every field below.

What to include in your notice

Location of the content — the date's URL and/or the in-app date ID (and, if relevant, the specific stop, photo, or profile), so we can find the exact material.
What is wrong — for copyright, identify the copyrighted work you own or control that is allegedly infringed; for any other objection, describe the content and explain why you believe it is illegal or violates our Terms (and, where relevant, the law you rely on).
Your contact details — your name and email address (and, for a DMCA notice, a mailing address and telephone number).
Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law (DMCA), and that the information in your notice is being submitted in good faith (DSA).
Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; and, for a copyright claim, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of, the copyright.
Signature — your physical or electronic signature (for a DMCA notice).

Counter-notice & put-back

If your content was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a DMCA counter-notice to the Designated Agent. See Terms of Service, Section 12 (Copyright policy) for the counter-notice requirements and the 10–14 business-day put-back window. Submitting a false notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

What happens next

We review notices and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the content and act on the responsible account under our Terms. Where a piece of content is removed as a result of a notice, we aim to provide the affected user a statement of reasons (DSA Art. 17, where applicable). Automated moderation may also detect and act on violating content independently of any notice.
