Delete your DateTrails account
This page explains how to delete your account and what data is removed. It satisfies the Google Play requirement for a publicly accessible account-deletion option.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open DateTrails and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are permanently deleted.
Option 2 — By request
If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my DateTrails account". We verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login (authentication record).
- Your profile (display name, bio, avatar).
- Dates you created, your ratings, and your saved/completed lists.
- Photos you uploaded.
- Support messages you sent us from the app.
What may be retained
Limited records may persist briefly in encrypted backups or where retention is required by law (e.g. transaction/tax records for purchases). These are not used to identify you and are purged on our normal backup cycle.
